In early 2004, our founders recognized the need for On the Go Books after being frustrated by the limited options previously available to audiobook rental customers. Purchasing audiobooks at retail is just simply too expensive, and traditional audiobook rental options offered limited selection, due dates, late fees, and the added inconvenience of a trip to the rental store.
