Review:

This book was simply awful. Rambling. Painful. I can't find the proper words to adequately describe its boorishness. Steven King wrote himself into the book, talked of himself in god-like tones, of having created the characters. He wrote an entire chapter about himself meeting Roland and Eddie, but without adding a molecule of substance to the story. Adding to the misery, he kept adding poems at the beginning of each chapter, ugly poems that were painful to the ears to listen to. But wait! There's more. Not only did the entire book wonder aimlessly with no apparent purpose of direction, but it ended on the same note, with an entire disc of Steven King talking about himself. I mean like describing taking his kid to school, of eating breakfast, etc.! Not a trac, not 2, but an entire disc. And adding a final insult to injury (as if we needed more), what little plot there was on the book was left pregnantly hanging in the breeze, begging for some form of merciful closure to a book that should have never been written, that did not deserve to even be part of an otherwise entertaining and well written series. However we did not even get that closure. In fact, this book was so dreadful that I cannot even finish this review, as I feel like I am part of the conspiracy just commenting on it. Excuse me while I look up a good hyptnotist to put me under and hopefully erase this book from my scarred memory.
