Review:

My bad, my prior review should have applied to Dark Tower 3. Dark Tower 4 is also excellent; a "retro" book that spends 90% of the book going back into time and telling the story of Roland's roots as a boy of 14 who falls in love and learns that the world can be a pretty mean and ugly place. We learn a lot about what contributed to Roland's OCD quest to find the Dark Tower. This book rather humanizes Roland, who to this point is an enigma that is difficult to fully understand.
