Review:

Although the book sheds light on the contributions of one of the lesser known founding fathers, it presents a very one-sided view of history. Hamilton is portrayed as almost single handedly creating the Constitution while everyone else (Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Adams, etc.) are venal, back stabbers. Even Washington comes off as someone who took direction from his intellectual superior, Hamilton. Hamilton's own faults are minimized. Informative but not a great history.
