Review:

The story was okay, mildly interesting. But I found the characters and narration to be self-indulget at times. Since it was an audiobook, I listened to all of it, because little effort was required. But if I had actually been reading it, in book or Kindle form, I probably would have quit partway through. The narrator is quite talented when it comes to vocal impersonations - foreign accents, men, old gossipy ladies, etcetera - but I sometimes found her reading to be annoying, and it frequently contributed to the self-indulgent aspects of the book.
